Cross Country Ski Conditions – Sunday, December 23, 2012

All the trails groomed up better than expected yesterday. All the trails were Ginzu groomed and snowcombed. The track roller set deep tracks on the Rolling Hills, Blizzard, Wild Turkey, Trapper’s Cabin and Manitou trails.
Last evening the Rolling Hills and Blizzard trails were Ginzu groomed and snowcombed. Very nice conditions.
Today: Partly cloudy. High 27F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: A few passing clouds. Low 16F. Winds light and variable
Monday: Cloudy. High 27F. Winds light and variable.
Monday night: Snow showers will become more widely scattered later on. Low 16F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%.
New Snow: 0 inches
Snow Depth in Woods: 6 – 9 inches
Packed Snow Depth on Trails: 4 – 6 inches
Ice, Glaze, Barespots: All trails are snow coved with a nice blanket of snow! There are a few oak leaves on the trails.
There are still a couple open slots left in the Eli Brown Skate and Classic clinic today. Call to sign up or show up at 1oam for skate, 1pm for classic.
Today’s Sandwiches and Paninis include a Turkey-Pesto Melt, Rocky Mountain Chipotle Veggie, and Bob’s Black Olive Tuna. All served with chips and a large pickle. Also enjoy Famous Spicy Chili as well as Veggie Chili. Both served with a 7 grain roll.
