Cross Country Ski Report – Friday, December 21st, 2012

We received upwards of 7 inches of nice dense snow yesterday. Then it statred raining!

Finally at around 1 AM last night the temps cooled and more snow fell.

Now we have a good amount of snow to work with but until the snow pack freezes up there will be slushy spots if we ski on the low parts of the trails. So skiing will be limited today, but by tomorrow (as long as the world doesn’t end today) all should be good, as temps will get down well into the 20’s.

Windy. Snow this morning will give way to snow showers this afternoon. High 28F. Winds NNW at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of snow 70%. 1 to 2 inches of snow expected. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph

Friday Night
