Cross Country Ski Report – Friday, December 27th, 2013

All trails groomed up beautifully yesterday and plenty of skiers enjoyed them. Groomer Dana will have all the trails freshly Ginzu groomed on by 9 am this morning

We have 8 trails open for a total of 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) and all are in excellent condition.

Depth of packed snow ranges from 7 to 9 inches (17 inches in the Blizzard XC Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 11 to 18 inches

Today, Dec 27:  Flurries and a few snow showers. Patchy freezing drizzle possible. High near 30F. Winds SSW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 30%

Saturday, Dec 28: Partly sunny. High 32F Winds SSW 10 to 15  mph

Sunday, Dec 29: Snow showers. High 22F. Winds N @ 18 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

The lunch special in the Stone Turtle Day Lodge today is a Turkey Pesto Panini made with Stone House 7 grain bread, sliced turkey, spinach, provolone cheese and pesto, grilled to perfection by Chef Jennie. Spicy chili and veggie chili served with a 7 grain roll are also on today’s menu. As well as a whole host of paninis, Bosco sticks and sandwiches.
