Cross Country Ski Report – Friday, January 3rd

The snow pack remains in fine shape. Groomer Dana continues to produce excellent results and will start all over again early this morning Ginzu grooming the skating lanes and freshening up the tracks on all the trails.

8 trails are open for a total of 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) and all are in excellent condition.

Depth of packed snow ranges from 6 to 8 inches (17 inches in the Blizzard XC Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 10 to 16 inches.

Today, A few snow showers in the morning. High 14F. Winds S at 15 to 25 mph.

Saturday, Cloudy with a chance of snow showers. High 28F. Winds SW 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Snowfall around 1 inch.

Sunday, Mostly cloudy. High 19F. Winds NW 5 to 10 mph.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge special today is the Turkey Pesto Panini with spinach and provolone on Stone House bread. Spicy chili and veggie chili served with a warm 7 grain roll, along with other paninis and sandwiches, made with Stone House bread, are also on today’s menu.
