It was a beautiful sunny day yesterday and it never got too warm. Temperature was 16F at 6am this morning. The snow pack has hardened up and Ginzu Dana will be able to groom this morning. With the fresh snow we received Wednesday night the Ginzu groomer will mix in the old snow with the new for a nice skiing surface.
Depth of packed snow ranges from 4 to 16 inches (24 inches in the Blizzard X-C Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 6 to 18 inches. Fresh Ginzu groomed spring conditions for classic and skate skiing prevail.
Today: Mostly sunny with possible wet snow showers later in the day. High in the upper 30’s. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight: Snow. Total nighttime snow accumulation 3 to 4 inches. Lows in the mid 20’s. Winds E 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy: Scattered flurries. Highs in the mid 30’s. Winds NW 5 to 15 mph.
Bob & Lynne skied off property yesterday to Waugoshance Point then out on a very frozen Lake Michigan. Pure Michigan at it’s best!
Today’s lunch special is Bob’s favorite Tuna Panini: Albacore tuna with fresh tomatoes, spinach and jalapenos with melted provolone and mayo, grilled to perfection on a fresh ciabatta roll and served with chips and a pickle. Chili and a fine selection of paninis will also be on today’s menu.
All forecasts call for snow tonight! Looks like a perfect Sunday for a Paintball Biathlon on the Blizzard Trail!
