Cross Country Ski Report – Monday, Feb 17

Another perfect day of skiing yesterday. The forecast looks like we will be getting more snow later. Ginzu Dana will start re-grooming all the trails at dawn this morning.

All 8 trails are open for a total of 18 kilometers (11 miles) of classic and skate skiing. Depth of packed snow ranges from 13 to 24 inches (30 inches in the Blizzard X-C Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 17 to 38 inches. Conditions are excellent for classic and skate skiing.
Today: Partly cloudy early and steady light snow later in the day. High 18F. Winds SE 10 to 20 mph. Accumulation around 1 to 2 inches. Chance of snow 90%.

Tonight: Snow. Total accumulation 4 to 5 inches.

Tuesday: Partly sunny. High 35F. Winds SW 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s lunch special is a proven favorite: The Turkey Pesto Panini: oven roasted turkey, sliced fresh tomatoes, spinach, basil pesto and provolone, grilled to perfection on Stone House Bread. Of course Famous Spicy Chili and Veggie Chili will be also be served with a warm 7 grain roll along with a variety of sandwiches and paninis.

Make this a great President’s Day and go X-C Skiing!
