Cross Country Ski Report – Monday, February 24th, 2014

We received a little snow last night and the forecast calls for some more today. Ginzu Dana will start early this morning snow combing all the trails and setting fresh tracks where needed.

All 8 trails are open for a total of 18 kilometers (11 miles) of classic skiing and skate skiing. Depth of packed snow ranges from 15 to 25 inches (34 inches in the Blizzard X-C Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 17 to 37 inches. Conditions are very good to excellent for classic and skate skiing. There are a few oak leaves on the trail.

Today: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers. High 15F. Wind W 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60%.

Tuesday: Snow showers throughout the day. High 18F. Winds W 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s lunch special Famous Spicy or Veggie Chili served with a warm 7 grain roll. Of course a variety of sandwiches, paninis and Bosco Sticks are also on today’s menu.

Our snow pack is in fine shape!
