Cross Country Ski Report – Monday, February 4th, 2013

We had a light snowfall throughout the day yesterday, just what groomer Dana needed to do a fine job Ginzu grooming the trails.

The Rolling Hills, Mackinac Cut and Wild Turkey trails have excellent conditions. The Manitou, Blizzard, Adventure and Trapper’s Cabin trails have very good conditions. The Tall Pines trail has good conditions.

Groomers Bob and Stu will be Ginzu grooming all the trials this morning.

Today: Snow showers. High 17F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60%. Snow accumulating 1 to 2 inches

Tonight: Snow flurries early. Then partly cloudy overnight. Low around 5F. Winds light and variable.

Tuesday: Snow showers early will become steadier snow in the afternoon. High 24F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 80%. 2 to 4 inches of snow expected.

Tuesday night: Snow in the evening will diminish to a few flurries overnight. Low 8F. Winds light and variable. Chance of snow 70%. Sn! ow accumulations less than one inch.

Wednesday: More clouds than sun. Highs in the low 20s and lows in the upper teens.

New Snow: 2 inches

Snow Depth in Woods: 7 to 10 inches

Packed Snow Depth on Trails: 4 – 7 inches

Ice, Glaze, Barespots: All trails are groomed and snow covered. No ice, No Glaze. No barespots.
