Cross Country Ski Report – Saturday, December 31st

We received another 1 to 2 inches of fresh snow last night, which adds to the 3+ inches we received yesterday and the night before. The conditions yesterday were outstanding for skating and classic, with freshly set tracks and firm, smooth skating lanes. Groomer Brian will snow comb all the skate lanes this morning, and set new tracks if needed. We now have a 7 to 8 inch packed base on the trails, and 12 to 14 inches of snow in the woods.

Forecast:

Today: Mainly cloudy with snow showers around this morning. High 34F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

Tonight: Considerable clouds this evening. Some decrease in clouds late. Low around 20F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow: A few passing clouds, otherwise generally sunny. High around 35F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special is the Classic Hammy Sammy! Roasted Ham, swiss cheese, sliced tomatoes and stone ground mustard, grilled to perfection on Ciabatta bread. Served with kettle cooked potato chips and a pickle.
