Cross Country Ski Report – Saturday, January 5th, 2013

Trails are holding up well. Groomer Rodney will start Ginzu grooming and snowcombing all the trails at dawn this morning.

We have machine set tracks on all trails. Plus all trails are Ginzu groomed and have snowcombed skating lanes.

Today: A mix of clouds and sun. High 31F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Variably cloudy with snow showers. Patchy freezing drizzle possible. Low 26F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Snowfall around one inch.

Sunday: Snow showers. High 27F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%. About one inch of snow expected.

Sunday night: Becoming mostly clear later with any flurries or snow showers ending by midnight. Low around 15F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 30%

Snow Depth in Woods: 4 – 8 inches

Packed Snow Depth on Trails: 4 – 6 inches

Ice, Glaze, Ba! respots: All trails are snow covered. The Tall Pines trail has marginal tracks under the big pines.
