As of 6:30 am this morning it was 38F, and too warm to groom. The warm temperatures of the last few days has taken a toll on the trails. Even though there is still a lot of snow on the ground, there are a number of spots on the trails that receive enough direct sunlight to create bare spots. However, Rolling Hills trail (sans extension) still has 100% snow coverage. As well, Trappers Cabin trail only has a few bare spots that can be easily navigated. Both the Wild Turkey and Adventure trails have navigable bare spots plus one or two ‘land bridges’ that skiers will need to walk across. The Tall Pines and Manitou trails are closed. Tomorrow morning will be much cooler and should allow for grooming. We have 0 to 8 inches of snow in the woods and 0 to 6 inches of snow packed on the trails.
