As of 6:30 am we have received about 2 inches of fresh snow and the forecast calls for 3 to 5 inches more.

Groomer Dana will start packing and grooming at dawn and will focus on the Wild Turkey, Mackinaw Cut and Rolling Hills first. We should have good skiing on those trails by 10:30 am. The rest of the trails will be groomed throughout the day.

We have 8 trails open for a total of 17 kilometers (10.7 miles)

Depth of packed snow ranges from 7 to 17 inches (17 inches in the Blizzard XC Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 10  to 18 inches

Today, Dec 22:  Snow this morning will give way to snow showers this afternoon. High near 20. Winds NE 10 to 20 mph. 5 to 8 inches of snow expected. Chance of snow 100%

Monday, Dec 23: Snow showers. High 14F. Winds NNE 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 30%.

Tuesday, Dec 24: Snow showers. High 11F. Winds ESE @ 4 mph.Chance of snow 30%

The lunch special in the Stone Turtle Day Lodge today is the ham and sharp cheddar Panini on ciabatta bread with and tomatoes grilled to perfection by chef Erin. Of course spicy chili and spicy veggie chili with a 7 grain roll are also on the menu along with a whole host of other paninis and sandwiches.

There is still space for the Kip Brady  Skate Skiing Clinic today at 1pm or for the Classic Clinic at 3pm.
