As of 7 am the temperature is 29 and it is forecast to get down to 25 by 9 am, Friday night’s rain was much less destructive than feared and all trails were open yesterday. We received some snow showers yesterday afternoon which will make this morning’s grooming effort very productive.

Many thanks to Tubb’s snowshoe guide Tom Lawrence for outfitting snowshoers and leading multiple snowshoe hikes for yesterday’s Winter Trails Day. Also, many thanks to ski instructor Jim Bradley for teaching never ever X-C skiers a new way to spend winter outdoors and leading a X-C Ski tour to Trapper’s cabin. Jim will be available for lessons all day today.
Grill Cook Gage will be at the ready on the Stone Turtle Day Lodge Sun Deck to fire grill your choice of Tilapia fillet, Lean Beef Burgers or Chipotle Black Bean Veggie Burgers. Choose your entree and Gage will grill it to perfection. If you dare, ask that your entree be cooked “Fire on the Mountain Style” – Grilled with sizzling hot sauce and topped with jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, onion and a creamy Buffalo Blue Cheese dressing. The Chipotle Black Bean Veggie Burgers were a huge hit yesterday!
Winter is back and the X-C Skiing is too!
