Cross Country Ski Report – Sunday, January 1st, 2017

Happy New Year!  The new snow from Friday night groomed up beautifully yesterday morning, allowing us to set fresh tracks on all the trails.  With the fair amount of skier traffic yesterday on the trails, Ginzu Dana will be setting new tracks again early this morning and snow combing all the skate lanes.  With clear skies, and overall great trail conditions, the skiing today will be a great way to ring in the new year.  We now have a 7 to 8 inch packed base on the trails, and 12 to 14 inches of snow in the woods.

Forecast:

Today: Sunshine to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High near 35F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Cloudy. Low 22F. Winds light and variable.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special is our famous house-made Chili (classic and vegetarian) and Bosco Sticks!  As always, we will also be offering our normal selection of grilled paninis served with kettle cooked potato chips and a pickle.

Lessons and free demos available every day! Call 800-832-2663 to schedule a lesson with Jim Bradley.

Hope to see you at HQ!
