Cross Country Ski Report – Thursday, December 20th, 2012

As of 7:00am this morning we have received 2 to 3 inches of dense snow and blizzard conditions prevail.

The grooming today will depend on the temperature. If we stay at 32 or below we can pack and groom. Otherwise we will ski in the classic tracks for great classic skiing today.

Today, Thursday Dec 20, 2012: 
Snow along with gusty winds at times. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds E at 20 to 30 mph. Snow accumulating 4 to 6 inches.

Windy. Periods of rain and snow this evening, becoming snow overnight. Low 26F. Winds NNE at 20 to 30 mph. 2 to 4 inches of snow expected. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph

Friday Dec 21: 
Occasional snow showers. Quite windy. High 28F. Winds NNW at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph

New Snow: 2-3 inches

Snow Depth in Woods! : 2-3 inches

Packed Snow Depth on Trails: 2 inches

Ice, Glaze, Barespots: All trails are covered with lots of fresh snow.
