Cross Country Ski Report – Thursday, January 3rd, 2013

As of 6:30am we have received 1/2 inch of snow and we are forecast to get more throughout the day today.

This is just what groomer Bob needs to make the trails beautiful again. He will start grooming all the trails at dawn this morning.

Trails are in great shape.

We have machine set tracks on all trails. Plus all trails are Ginzu groomed and have snowcombed skating lanes.

Today: Snow showers in the morning and numerous snow showers in the afternoon. Daytime accumulation up to 1 inch. High near 25F. Winds W at 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Flurries. Low 18. West winds 10 to 15.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. Flurries in the morning. High 30. West winds 15.

Saturday: Partly sunny. High in the lower 30’s. Southwest winds 5 to 10.

New Snow: 1/2 inch

Snow Depth in Woods: 6 – 10 inches

Packed Snow Depth on Trails: 4 – 6 inches
Ice, Glaze, Barespots: All trails are snow covered with a nice blanket of groomed snow!

Enjoy Famous Spicy Chili as well as Veggie Chili. Both served with a warm sourdough roll.
