Cross Country Ski Report – Tuesday, Dec 27th

After yesterday’s warm spell, we are back down to temps in the low to mid 20’s, which is low enough for Ginzu Dana to groom the trails this morning. He will snow comb the skating lanes and set new tracks around dawn. There may be small debris like pine needles and twigs on the trails due to the high winds yesterday and last night; we will clear as much of it as we can this morning. Conditions after grooming should be very good for skating and classic.

Today: Cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High around 25F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: A few flurries possible early. Cloudy. Low 18F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Cloudy. High 31F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.

The snow on the Mason Tract is great for a back country adventure!

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special is the Rocky Mountain Chipotle Veggie Panini! Double cheese, house-made hummus, spinach, tomato, red onion, bell peppers, banana peppers and chipotle mayo, grilled and served hot on Stone House bread, served with kettle cooked potato chips and a pickle!

Instructor Jim is available for skating and classic lessons every day this week and weekend. Call 800-832-2663 to schedule a lesson and learn how to have more fun while skiing!
