The grooming, snow conditions and weather all came together yesterday for just a perfect day of X-C Skiing.
We did get some rain last night, but not enough to do any real damage to the trails. As of 7:20 AM the temperature is 32 and falling. It is snowing lightly. Looks like the real snow will start after 2 in the afternoon.
Because of last night’s rain the chances of doing any grooming today are slim.
Classic skiing is recommended until we get enough snow to cover the crust.
The Mackinac Cut, Wild Turkey, Rolling Hills, Tall Pines, Trapper’s Cabin, Manitou, Adventure and Blizzard trails are all open and crusty and need just a little snow to make for good skiing.
