Cross Country Ski Report – Tuesday, January 7th

Received a good amount of snow throughout the day yesterday. So much so that Groomer Dana had to regroom some of the trails. All the skating lanes are freshly snowcombed and all the trails have fresh Ginzu set tracks.

8 trails are open for a total of 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) and all are in excellent condition.

Depth of packed snow ranges from 8 to 10 inches (17 inches in the Blizzard XC Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 12 to 20 inches.

Today, Mostly cloudy and windy. Snow showers, High 4F. Winds WSW 20 to 30. Wind chills may approach -25F

Wednesday, Partly sunny, High 13F. Winds WSW 10 to 15 mph.

Thursday, Partly sunny, High 15. Wind S @ 9 mph.

Today’s lunch special is a delicious ham and Swiss cheese panini made with honey ham, Swiss cheese, sliced tomato and brown mustard served on Stone House 7 grain bread. Famous Spicy Chili served with a warm 7 grain roll will also be served along with Vegetarian Chili and a host of specialty paninis and sandwiches.
