Cross Country Ski Report – Wednesday, February 12th, 2014

The sun did indeed shine yesterday and along with brilliant blue sky made for a great afternoon of X-C Skiing. Ginzu Dana started Ginzu snowcombing all the trails early this morning.

All 8 trails are open for a total of 18 kilometers (11 miles) of classic and skate skiing. Depth of packed snow ranges from 13 to 24 inches (30 inches in the Blizzard X-C Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 17 to 38 inches. Conditions are excellent for classic and skate skiing.

Today: Cloudy. A few snow showers developing in the afternoon. High 21F. Winds SSW 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%.
Thursday: Cloudy skies with a few snow showers later in the day. High 27F. Winds SSE 10 to 15 mph.

Today’s lunch special is Bob’s favorite Tuna Panini. Combine Albacore tuna, jalapenos and black olives with mayo, top with provolone, load on a ciabatta roll and grill to perfection. Of course Famous Spicy Chili and Veggie Chili and other paninis are also on today’s lunch menu.

Trails are in great shape and the temps are getting into the teens, no cabin fever here!
