Cross Country Ski Report – Wednesday, January 16th, 2013

Thanks to the hard work of 4 trail groomers, we have good to very good skiing on a majority of the Rolling Hills Trail and Trapper’s Cabin Trail!
The little bit of fresh snow and Ginzu groomer has made all the difference!
Yesterday after school, 18 4H skiers and 12 Roscommon high school X-C Ski Team members had a great time X-C skiing in the beautiful winter sunshine. It was so cool to see all those young kids having a blast on skis!

We have great sandwich specials in the Stone Turtle Day Lodge and of course the old favorite Spicy Chili!
Thanks to the trail crew, who not only brought back parts of the Rolling Hills and Trapper’s Cabin trails, but who also cleaned up all the debris (including pinecones!) from all the rest of the trail system! All we need is just a couple of inches to open all the trails!
It’s Silver Streak Week – skiers age 55+ ski for free! And we are X-C Skiing today!
