Winter has returned! As of 7 AM this morning the temperature was 19F and we were getting some snow showers.
The snow pack has hardened up and with the fresh snow Ginzu groomed into the base skiing today will be a lot of fun.
The Mackinac Cut, Wild Turkey, Rolling Hills, Tall Pines, Trapper’s Cabin, Manitou, Adventure and Blizzard trails all have fresh snow on hard pack. The tracks are still good and with the fresh snow in them they should be quite skiable. Once groomed, the skating lanes will be fast and fun.
Groomer Stu is Ginzu grooming and will continue throughout the morning to mix in the fresh snow into the hard pack. He will start with the Mackinac Cut & Wild Turkey trails and then do the Rolling Hills trail and the rest.
