Join us for the first annual Hanson Hills/XC Ski HQ Paintball Biathlon! This Saturday & Sunday, St. Patty’s Day weekend – March 16th & 17th. Open to all skier levels, with 3 junior divisions plus a Citizens adult division and an Open adult division. Saturday’s race is at Hanson Hills, Sunday’s race plus awards and St. Patty’s Day party and lunch is at XC Ski HQ. It is sure to be lots of fun, with great skiing conditions, cool handmade prizes, free giveaways, and and a great St. Patty’s Day party to wrap it up (BYO Green Beverages).
Handmade prizes awarded to 1st male/female in each division each day, along with Overall winners for the Weekend (Weekend Warriors). There will also be Sharpshooter awards for male/ female in each division. Here is the schedule for both days:
9:45 AM — Open/ Citizens Registration Begins
10:15 AM — Paintball Range Practice
10:30 AM — Open/ Citizens Race Starts
(Open Division: 5x1km loops + 5 shooting stations)
(Citizens Division: 5x.5km loops + 5 shooting stations)
11:30 AM — Junior Registration Opens
11:45 AM — Paintball Range opens for Practice
12:15 PM — J-1 Race start 15 second interval start
(J-1: 1X200m loop + 1 shooting station)
12:45 Pm— J-2 Race start 15 second interval Start
(J-2: 2X1km loops + 2 shooting stations)
1:30 PM — J-3 Race Start 15 second Interval Start
(J-3: 1X3km loops + 3 shooting stations)

One Day: Junior: $10 Open/ Novice: $15
Both Days: Junior: $15 Open/novice: $25*
*Racers who participate in the 2-day series will receive a cool prize!
All racers receive St. Patty’s Day style lunch during awards ceremony at XC Ski HQ on Sunday after the races. Join us for this very fun, unique event – a great wrap-up of the ski season!
