November 16th, 2022 Ski Report: Rock Skiing and it Feels So Good!

Happy Snowy Day from Higgins Lake, Michigan! After 2-3 inches of snow in the last 48 hours, we took some rock skis (skis we don’t mind running over rocks with) out on the Rolling Hills trail. The report? Surprisingly decent glide over snow and plenty of crispy cold oak leaves made for a very fun first ski of the season!! The ground isn’t frozen yet, so expect stickiness here and there if you go, but there’s a very good time to be had for the adventurous (or desperate) skier! Our skis were prepped with plenty of liquid glide wax, then set out to chill for about 30 minutes, which made all the difference. Make sure to wear your orange and go during peak daylight hours.

Ski season is here, or at least right around the corner! Shop our annual Thanksgiving Weekend Sale and get yourself completely ready with skis, snowshoes, winter clothing, XC ski clothing, and more. Work with the pros who are here to help get you on the snow and having FUN this winter!

SKI YOU SOON!
