“Stretch & Hike” is ON for this Saturday / “Stretch & Slide” moved to Jan 30th

Yoga + Trail Hiking = Sign me up.

Even though there will not be snow this weekend, we WILL have “Stretch and Hike” this Saturday, December 12th! Come to the Gerrish Township Municipal Building for the 10:00am yoga class, then head to Cross Country Ski HQ for a Nordic Ski Walking clinic, Ski Walking pole rental, and trail hike! Top it off with a delicious chili lunch at the Stone Turtle Cafe and some (premier Christmas shopping at our Snowy Christmas Sale) for a real Pure Michigan day. Please arrive 15 minutes early to register. Cost is $15 for the yoga class, clinic, pole rental, and lunch. Pre-register by calling 800-832-2663 or emailing info@crosscountryski.com

Yoga + XC Skiing × Snowshoeing = I’m not good at math… but sign me up.

“Stretch and Slide,” a Yoga-Ski Retreat, has been rescheduled to Saturday January 30th, when we will surely have enough snow to ski! This fun event begins at 10:00am with a yoga class at the Gerrish Township Municipal Building, 1 mile south of XC Ski HQ. Then head to XC Ski HQ for a full day ski/snowshoe rental, group lesson, XC Ski HQ Facilities Pass, and a homemade chili lunch at the Stone Turtle Café. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the serenity of cross country skiing or snowshoeing in Michigan’s beautiful winter forests, or relaxing by the huge fieldstone fireplace! All are invited to participate, including novices to yoga, skiing or both. Over a $65 value for only $35 ($25 if you have your own equipment). To pre-register, email info@crosscountryski.com or call 800-832-2663.

“I totally regret doing that yoga class and then going for a hike/ski/snowshoe in the northern Michigan woods.” – said no one, ever. Sign up soon!
Oh and, ahem, the Snowy Christmas Sale is going strong! And boy do we have Christmas gifts galore. Not sure what to give? Trust us, nothing says “you’re my favorite niece/something-in-law/water cooler buddy” like a Cross Country Ski Headquarters gift certificate.
All the best, and let it snow!
