Groomer Stu groomed up the fresh snow we received last Wednesday and created some of the best spring skiing we have had in years yesterday!
As of 8am this morning the temperature was 17F. Stu will start grooming again today when the temperature get into the mid 20’s (around 10 am). The skating lanes will be great until 2:00 in the afternoon. Then things will soften up. The classic skiing will be good any time after 11:00 am.
Depth of packed snow ranges from 5 to 14 inches (26 inches in the Blizzard X-C Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 5 to 16 inches. Spring conditions for classic and skate skiing prevail on all 8 trails that total 11. 5 miles.
Today: Sunny. High 45F. Winds ESE 5 to 10 mph.
Monday: Sunny. High 52F. Winds SSE 10 to 15 mph.
Today’s lunch special is our Turkey Pesto Panini: sliced oven roasted turkey, basil pesto, spinach, sliced fresh tomatoes and provolone on Stone House bread or Ciabatta, grilled to perfection and served with chips. Other tasty paninis and chili will also be served.
