Cross Country Ski Report – Saturday, December 28th

All trails groomed up very nicely yesterday. Excellent X-C Ski conditions. Groomer Joe will start regrooming all the trails early this morning.

We have 8 trails open for a total of 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) and all are in excellent condition.

Depth of packed snow ranges from 7 to 9 inches (17 inches in the Blizzard XC Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 11 to 18 inches

Today, Dec 28: Flurries or freezing drizzle possible early. Cloudy. High 33F Winds SSW 5 to 10 mph

Sunday, Dec 29: Windy with snow showers. High 24F and falling to 15F. Winds NW 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 60%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

Monday, Dec 30, Snow showers. High 11F. Winds W @ 12.

The lunch special in the Stone Turtle Day Lodge today is Spicy chili and veggie chili served with a 7 grain roll. A whole host of paninis, Bosco sticks and sandwiches are also on today’s menu.
