Cross Country Ski Report – Wednesday, February 26th

We have received close to another inch of fresh snow since yesterday morning. The new snow helps in the battle of the oak leaves. Ginzu Dana will start Ginzu grooming all the trails early this morning slicing and dicing the oak leaves in the process. Setting oak leaf free tracks will be his goal today.

All 8 trails are open for a total of 18 kilometers (11 miles) of classic skiing and skate skiing. Depth of packed snow ranges from 15 to 25 inches (34 inches in the Blizzard X-C Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 17 to 37 inches. Conditions are very good to excellent for classic and skate skiing. Some oak leaves are in the tracks on some parts of the trails.

Today: Occasional snow showers. High 12F. Winds SW 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%.

Tonight: Snow showers: Low 0F. Winds W 5 to 20 mph. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches. Chance of snow 60%
