Cross Country Ski Report – Wednesday, February 5th

It is almost too much fun to X-C Ski when the snow and trail conditions are as good as they have been for the last few days.

Ginzu Dana will start re-grooming all the trails at dawn this morning and setting fresh tracks where needed.

All 8 trails are open for a total of 18 kilometers (11 miles) of classic and skate skiing. Depth of packed snow ranges from 13 to 24 inches (26 inches in the Blizzard X-C Ski Park where we make snow). Depth of unpacked snow ranges from 17 to 38 inches. Conditions are excellent for classic and skate skiing.

Today: Cloudy skies. A few flurries are possible. High near 15F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph

Thursday: Snow flurries in the morning will give way to mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon. High near 15F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph..

Today’s lunch special is “Sour Dough Bread Bowl Chili”: your choice of Famous Spicy or Veggie Chili served in a hollowed out loaf of sour dough bread. A fine selection of paninis and sandwiches are also on today’s menu.

X-C Skiing is a warm way to spend a winter day!!
