The Bjorn Daehlie Challenge Jacket is an insulated hybrid cross country ski jacket, creating a perfect balance of warmth and breathability for your ski outing. Consisting of wind and water repellent, therefore designed to keep moisture out so the jacket dries quickly and breathes well. The light insulation on the chest area keeps you warm on even the coldest days.
The strategically placed elastic material on the back and under the arms ensures movement and ventilation. Rudolf Bionic Finish® ECO technology on the surface of the fabric assures that light rain and sleet bead off, still providing breathability. Insulated with Thermore® Ecodown, which consists solely of recycled fibers from PET bottles. This technical jacket has molded sleeves, tension cord at hem, and elastic cuffs for optimal fit. Other attributes include YKK® zippers and fleece lining in the throat for extra warmth.

The Challenge Jackets layers well with the The Bjorn Daehlie Half Zip Grid, a warm, comfortable, and quick drying layer for cross country skiing.
Layering is the key to cold weather comfort. Most people understand the idea of layering their clothing for outdoor activity: first, the wicking layer; second, the insulation layer and third the wind and weather layer. The key to making it work for you just takes a little practice. A comment we often hear is that, once out on the trail for 10-15 minutes, people are too hot! What a great problem: to be too hot when you’re outside in the winter! Well, fortunately, it’s never been easier to lighten up your layers.
