Overall, the Flex STP is an excellent choice for the burgeoning snowshoe enthusiast looking for an entry-level snowshoe at a great price!  Fair warning: the bindings on the Flex STP binding do not easily accommodate larger-sized boots (Tubbs recommends no great than US 13).
