The Norrona Warm Octa Hood is made for the trails. Whether you’re skiing a few kilometers or all day, this jacket will be your best friend when it comes to the cold. The exterior is 100% recycled fine-knitted recycled polyester making it wind-resistant. Also treated with PFC-free DWR for extra protection. The liner is a lightweight multi-channel Octa construction, allowing a continuous release of body heat to keep you comfortable.

To optimize the airflow, the fabric on the back and under the arms is a stretchy warm1 170 gr/m2 70% recycled polyester fabric that provides excellent moisture transportation and breathability. The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good movement while skiing. No seams on the shoulders to prevent chafing when wearing a backpack.

Layering is the key to cold weather comfort. A recreational skier who skis for fitness will wear less and lighter layers than someone who’s touring. If you’re too hot or too cold, try altering your layers, by wearing thinner or thicker ones, to suit the day’s conditions, and then, remove or add a layer on the trail if necessary.
