These are our real daily trail reports, written each morning by the same crew who grooms the trails. We are a full service cross country ski shop and trail system in Roscommon, Michigan, and these reports come straight from people walking and grooming the snow, not modeled forecasts. Reports typically cover skate and classic conditions separately, since a good skate day is not always a good classic day. We received about 2 more inches of snow last night and the trails are looking the best they’ve looked all year! The grooming team will snow-comb all the trails this morning and set fresh tracks on Trappers Cabin, Rolling Hills, Mackinaw Cut, and most of Wild Turkey! We are feeling very grateful for this SNOW! Temps are back up in the balmy teens, and the skiing is great! We got about a fresh inch of fluffy snow which the grooming team will snow comb this morning. Tracks remain on Trappers Cabin, and the snowmaking team is hard at work adding another section of the man-made snow trail. All the trees have fresh dusting upon them and it’s beautiful out
Subzero temps remain through this morning, but the grooming team will be snow-combing all the trails setting fresh, squeaky corduroy. Coverage remains solid on all trails, and Trappers cabin tracks should be reset today as well.
