The all new Salomon Escape Snow 47 Skin skis are an exciting addition to Salomon’s excellent line-up. They promise to be some of the best recreational skin skis on the market. When we got to check them out last year, the shorter lengths were very appealing to us! Many skiers love the extra maneuverability shorter skis offer.

Reliable G4 base and Densolite 200 core make for a responsive and easy to control ski, and the 70% mohair/30% nylon skin blend gives a very secure grip. The Heel-Toe Camber is built to improve glide and acceleration, providing easy kick and compression when pressing with the forefoot, but remains lifted when flat footed. Not to mention, they look slick! Use on and off trail 75/25. XC Ski HQ Demo Rating: 4¾ out of 5 stars.

These skis come pre-mounted with Prolink Shift Classic bindings, which are lightweight manual bindings, which can be easily adjusted forward or backward for more glide or grip.  These bindings are compatible with all Prolink, Rottefella NNN, or Turnamic boots.
